SmartSwitch The SmartSwitch is a light switch that is remotely controlled by the wireless mesh network. The SmartSwitch is mounted in a standard electrical outlet and replaces the existing light switch. Installation can be done in as little as five minutes per switch. The SmartSwitches communicate with each other by forming their own wireless mesh network.

TeslaNet Each SmartSwitch communicates with each other and the Gateway through a self-forming, self-healing secure wireless mesh network using the industry standard Zigbee protocol. This network allows for rapid installation, as no wires need to be pulled between switches.

SmartGateway The wireless mesh network formed by the SmartSwitches connects to the SmartServer through the SmartGateway. This acts as a bridge between the wireless mesh network and the Internet using Ethernet or CDMA. The Gateway can be installed wherever it is most convenient, typically one per floor.

SmartServer System operation is easily configured using a web browser interface to the SmartServer. The SmartServer monitors system operation and remotely configures the device through a secure web-based portal. The SmartServer is hosted by Tesla Controls ensuring an easy, fast installation.
